Cancellation & Refund Policy
Ashlie The Notary, values your time and strives to provide efficient and reliable mobile notarization services. I have established the following cancellation & refund policy to ensure smooth operations and effectively accommodate my clients. I understand that situations may arise where clients need to cancel or reschedule their mobile notary appointment. I aim to maintain my commitment to providing reliable and timely client services.
Non-Refundable Appointment Deposit
When scheduling your notary appointment, a deposit of $25 is required to secure your desired time slot. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your notary service. The deposit can be paid when booking your service, and the appointment will be confirmed upon receipt.
Cancellations & No Shows
Notification of Cancellation:
Please notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend your scheduled appointment. This allows me to offer the appointment slot to another client who may need my services. You can contact me via text at 410-929-2555 or email at info@ashliethenotary.com
No-Shows:
A "no show" occurs when the signer fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notification or cancels with less than 24 hours' notice. In such cases, the appointment deposit is forfeited.
Refunds
Refund Eligibility:
All notary services, once provided, may not be eligible for a refund due to the nature of the service. These services include but are not limited to completed notarizations or notary acts that have been executed and finalized. Refunds will only be considered for payments made in advance for notary services that have not yet been rendered.
Refundable Circumstances:
Appointment Cancellation: If you provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellation, any payment made in advance, excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be eligible for a refund. Non-refundable deposit will be applied to future appointment, if rescheduled.
Service Unavailability: If Ashlie The Notary, cannot fulfill the notary service due to an unforeseen circumstance or issue on her end, a full refund, including the non-refundable deposit, will be provided.
Refund Request:
Must be submitted via email at info@ashliethenotary.com within three days from the original payment date. Refunds may be processed via cash, CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, or Apple Pay. Please allow a reasonable processing time for the refund to be reflected in your account. Note that the timeframe for the refund to appear may vary depending on your financial institution.
